• Children’s activities provided.

• Lessons from Hurricane Katrina.
• How to prepare a personal Emergency Kit.
• Dry pack canning & ham radio demonstrations.
• Other displays and lectures on being prepared.

• Go to our registration page, or register at the door.

• In the event of a major disaster on Vancouver Island you may be on your own for at least 7 days. What will you eat? Are you prepared?
• Disasters are not a part of our everyday lives. Developing plans and organizing ourselves is the only way to be prepared for a real disaster.
• Listen to experienced speakers & view displays that can address the “Before, During and After” of disaster preparedness.
